What data instant.tf uses to process TF2 trades and support requests.
Last updated
instant.tf uses only the account and transaction information needed to authenticate with Steam, send trade offers, credit balances, process crypto payouts, prevent abuse, and answer support requests.
Steam data
Steam handles sign-in. instant.tf receives your public Steam identifier/profile data and stores your trade URL only so the bot can send trade offers.
Transaction data
Trade records, deposits, cashouts, support messages, and anti-fraud signals may be kept so balances can be reconciled and disputes can be investigated.
Crypto payout data
Wallet addresses and payout networks are used to send requested withdrawals and to keep an auditable payout history.
Support
Support ticket messages are used to resolve account, trade, deposit, or payout issues. Admin replies are shown as Support, not as personal admin names.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you see my Steam password?
No. Steam authentication happens on Steam; instant.tf never receives your Steam password or Steam Guard code.
Why store my trade URL?
The bot needs your trade URL to send Steam trade offers directly to your inventory.
